about us

Do Your Ideas is a community carpentry workshop in Bexhill-on-Sea. the workshop is open to everyone looking to learn new skills and realise their creative ambitions. we offer daytime, evening, and weekend classes covering a range of activities - mostly involving carpentry and "do-it-yourself" skills

we want to support people who don't usually have access to this kind of facility. we're open to changing the space and our ways of working to encourage a broad range of people to feel more welcome

the workshop has flat-access and accessible toilets. we're building a low workbench if you need to work from a chair

we provide free or subsidised classes to local community groups, this work is supported by donations and grant funding

our program of classes changes throughout the year and we have occasional weekend open days. please subscribe to our newsletter to keep up-to-date
